STIMLEY CONSULTING COMMUNITY AND CULTURAL EVENT SPOTLIGHT
FEATURED SPONSOR: DILLARD’S
The Carmila Chinn Hampton Legacy Foundation and Stimley Consulting Recognize Dillard’s Sponsorship
Dillard’s Northpark helps fashion serve a greater purpose
The Carmila Chinn Hampton Legacy Foundation’s 2026 Seasons of Color Fashion Show will bring style, philanthropy and community participation together on Sunday, November 1, at The Westin Hotel. Dillard’s Northpark joins the event as Fashion Sponsor, helping transform wardrobe preparation into a meaningful part of the experience.
Stimley Consulting serves as the Marketing and Event Strategy Sponsor, supporting sponsor outreach, vendor development, partnership building and strategic communications that widen the foundation’s reach and encourage community and economic participation in Jackson.
A Fashion Sponsor That Supports the Full Experience
Dillard’s Northpark has assisted participating models with wardrobe selections and brought trusted retail expertise to the runway. That support gives models an opportunity to prepare with confidence while strengthening the visual presentation guests will experience during the show.
The collaboration also connects a major retailer with a community-led event. Models have visited the Northpark location for wardrobe fittings and selections, creating direct engagement with store associates and allowing the community to see Dillard’s participation in action. The partnership strengthens the runway experience while demonstrating how retail expertise can support a charitable community event.
Fashion With a Charitable Purpose
Seasons of Color honors Carmila Chinn Hampton, an Allstate agent, entrepreneur, wife, mother, sister and friend whose battle with cancer ended in 2012. The foundation carries forward her legacy of strength, faith and hope by supporting children, adolescents and young adults battling cancer and other life-changing illnesses, including young people who have lost one or both parents to cancer.
Since 2013, the foundation has donated more than $30,000 to local charities. Proceeds from the 2026 fashion show will support The ARK’s youth development work in Jackson and the American Breast Cancer Foundation’s education, screening and patient-assistance programs. The runway is therefore part of a larger fundraising effort for young people, families and cancer patients whose needs continue after the event ends.
A Model for Business and Community Partnership
For Stimley Consulting, this partnership illustrates how an event can create value on several levels at once. The foundation advances its mission. Dillard’s builds a visible relationship with models, guests and supporters. Charitable organizations gain resources and public awareness. The community is invited to participate in an evening that connects business leadership with compassion.
Strong community growth often begins with this kind of practical engagement. A business contributes its expertise and market presence. A nonprofit provides purpose and trusted relationships. Strategic partners help connect the work to a wider audience. Together, those contributions create an experience that can lead to future sponsorships, stronger public awareness and continued investment in Jackson.
Fashion may bring people into the room, but service, partnership and shared purpose give the evening its lasting value.
