CASE STUDY · CULTURAL EVENT MARKETING AND SPONSORSHIP STRATEGY
Building visibility and partnership momentum for Seasons of Color.
How Stimley Consulting connected sponsor development, promotional storytelling, digital content, and strategic outreach for a charitable cultural event.

THE ENGAGEMENT
A coordinated strategy for visibility, participation, and partnership.
The Carmila Chinn Hampton Legacy Foundation's 2026 Seasons of Color Fashion Show brings fashion, philanthropy, community participation, and economic activity together. Stimley Consulting serves as Marketing and Event Strategy Sponsor, supporting the communications and partnership infrastructure surrounding the event.
The assignment required more than a single advertisement. The work called for a coordinated public narrative that could recognize sponsors, introduce featured participants, support ticket and vendor outreach, and create lasting digital assets connected to the foundation's mission.
THE STRATEGIC CHALLENGE
Build one coherent campaign from many participating voices.
The event included a charitable foundation, a major retail sponsor, featured guests, artists, vendors, community partners, and prospective attendees. Each participant needed distinct recognition, but every message also needed to reinforce the same event identity, charitable purpose, and call to participate.
THE STRATEGIC RESPONSE
Four connected workstreams.
Sponsor and partnership materials
Developed sponsor-facing communications, recognition materials, VIP sponsor opportunities, vendor promotions, and tailored outreach designed to make participation clear and credible.
Promotional campaign development
Created coordinated event messaging and visual promotions for social media, sponsor recognition, featured guests, vendors, and community-facing announcements.
Executive and partner storytelling
Produced feature content recognizing Dillard’s Northpark, Melanie N. Sanders, and Harold W. Miller while connecting each story to the foundation’s charitable purpose and the event’s wider community value.
Digital visibility and search presence
Published dedicated, search-ready articles with descriptive titles, canonical links, structured authorship, social metadata, internal links, and sitemap inclusion.
EVIDENCE OF PROGRESS
Visible assets and partner engagement.
The campaign produced a growing collection of public-facing materials that support event visibility before the November program and remain available afterward as evidence of partnership and community engagement.

THE STRATEGIC TAKEAWAY
Event promotion becomes more valuable when it also builds organizational authority.
By connecting sponsor recognition, partner storytelling, digital publishing, and direct outreach, the campaign supports the immediate event while building a longer-term record of the foundation's relationships and Stimley Consulting's strategic work. The result is a portfolio of credible content that can continue strengthening visibility, partnership development, and search presence beyond a single event date.
